common sense

anyone ever notice this? things that should be utterly obvious, just aren't to some people. like "don't eat something that just came out of the oven" or "it's not a good idea to point sharp objects like scissors near my eyes" and yet you her about people being severely injured due to something that could have been prevented with a little common sense! and i feel like i'm surrounded by stupid people......ah well.....
